Finesse Free Website – Privacy Policy (Draft v1)

This explains what we collect when you sign up for a Free Website, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Business and contact details: your business name, your name, email, phone, and answers you give in the form (like your business type and the styles you pick).
• Your files: the logo, photos, documents, notes, and website links you upload or share.
• Your domain choice: whether you have a domain and which one you picked.
• Payment info: we don't collect a card when you sign up. Before your site launches, your card is collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. Finesse never sees or stores your full card number.
• Your signature record: your typed or drawn signature, the date and time, the terms version, and your IP address and browser, which serve as proof of what you agreed to.

How we store it

• Your details are kept in our secure database (Supabase). Access is limited to Finesse, and protected access controls are turned on.
• Your logo, photos, and files are kept in private storage. They aren't public until your website goes live, and then only what appears on your site is visible.
• Secret keys stay on our servers and are never sent to your browser.

Who we share it with

• Your content appears only on your own website. We never share it with other customers, and we never use it in our marketing without your written permission.
• We use a few service providers only to run your site: Stripe (payments, from launch), Supabase (storage), our web host, and Cloudflare (domains). We don't sell your data.
• We'll disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• We keep your information while you're a customer.
• After you cancel, we delete your files within 60 days, or sooner if you ask.
• We keep signature and billing records for 6 years for legal and tax reasons.

Your choices

• Ask us anytime to see, correct, or delete your information. We'll confirm within 30 days.
• You can stop marketing emails anytime. Service emails still go out while you're a customer, including billing notices once your site has launched.
