Website redesign services

A better website, built from the one you have.

Your current site is probably not worthless. It holds content you paid for, a brand people recognize, addresses other sites link to, and search history you would rather not throw away. A redesign keeps what earns its place and rebuilds what is holding the business back. Based in Ephrata, PA, we build websites for businesses across Lancaster County and the rest of the U.S.

Website redesign, not a surface-level refresh

A surface refresh changes colors and fonts and leaves the same problems underneath. A redesign changes the structure of the site, the visual system, how it behaves on a phone, the order information is presented, and the paths that lead someone to contact you — while retaining the strongest parts of what you already have.

In practice that means we start by reading your current site properly: what it says, what people click, which pages bring visitors in. Those keep their place. Everything else is open to being rebuilt.

A redesign is right when

  • The design looks dated next to the businesses you compete with
  • It is awkward or frustrating to use on a phone
  • Visitors cannot find the page they came for
  • Pages load slowly, or parts of the site break
  • Your brand, services or pricing have moved on from what is published
  • People rarely call, book or buy through the site
  • You cannot make a simple edit without help

When this package is not the right fit

If you have no website yet, if it needs a brand built from nothing, or if what you actually need is custom business software, a redesign package is the wrong tool. Say so and we will point you at the tiered website packages or scope the extra work properly instead.

The packages

Three redesign packages, matched to the three website options

A redesign can cost less than a new build when your content, brand and structure are already in place — and more when the current site has to be untangled first. Every redesign is quoted separately after we review your current site, in writing. One free design preview. Additional previews are $150 each.

Redesign 01

Starter Redesign

Priced from your current site and confirmed in writing before work begins.

Matches Tier 1 — Starter Website

A one-page site, or a homepage that has to carry the whole business on its own.

  • One page redesigned and rebuilt
  • Single-screen story: offer, proof, contact
  • One obvious call to action, repeated down the page
  • Click-to-call and a short inquiry form
  • Existing copy, brand and photography carried forward

Redesign 02

Most common

Business Redesign

Priced from your current site and confirmed in writing before work begins.

Matches Tier 2 — Business Website

A multi-page site that has grown awkward — dated design, confusing menu, few inquiries.

  • Up to five core pages redesigned and rebuilt
  • Menu and page structure rebuilt around real routes
  • Custom sections for services, work and testimonials
  • Longer inquiry or quote form with email notifications
  • Location and service-area pages where they apply
  • Content reorganized page by page, not lifted as-is

Redesign 03

Enterprise Business Redesign

Priced from your current site and confirmed in writing before work begins.

Matches Tier 3 — Enterprise Business Website

A site that sells or takes bookings, where the money path itself needs rebuilding.

  • Everything in the Business Redesign, at a larger page count
  • Product or service pages rebuilt for browsing and comparison
  • Cart, checkout or booking flow redesigned end to end
  • Customer account and order or booking history screens
  • Existing payment and scheduling connections carried across
  • Careful redirect mapping for product and booking URLs

Included in every redesign package

  • Audit of the current website, structure and content

  • Mobile-responsive layouts, built phone-first
  • Clearer navigation and calls to action
  • Light reorganization and editing of your supplied content
  • Contact and lead form

Anything on this list is quoted with you before work begins, never added quietly to an invoice.

What a professional website redesign should improve

01

Credibility that matches the business today

A site built years ago describes a business that has since changed. The redesign aligns the look, the language and the services on the page with the company you actually run now, so the first impression stops working against you.

02

A phone experience designed for a phone

Most visitors arrive on a small screen. Rather than shrinking the desktop layout, each page is laid out again for a thumb: readable type, stacked sections, tap targets large enough to hit, and no sideways scrolling.

03

Navigation someone can follow first time

Menus grow by accretion. We reduce them to the routes people actually use, name them in plain words, and give every page one obvious next step instead of six competing ones.

04

Pages that load quickly and stay maintainable

Oversized images, dead plugins and duplicated scripts get cleared out. The rebuilt pages are lean by construction, which also makes them easier for you to edit later without breaking a layout.

05

Calls to action that are impossible to miss

If the point of the site is a phone call, a form or a quote request, that action belongs in the header, in the page body and at the end of every page — not buried in a footer.

06

Accessibility fundamentals, not an afterthought

Real heading structure, labeled form fields, visible keyboard focus, sensible color contrast and meaningful alt text. It helps every visitor, not only those using assistive technology.

SEO-aware migration

Redesign the website without discarding its search history

The most expensive redesign mistake is launching a better-looking site that quietly breaks every address people relied on. These are redesign SEO foundations, not an ongoing search campaign — and nobody can guarantee rankings. What these steps do is remove the avoidable damage.

  1. 01

Record what exists before anything changes

Current URLs, page titles, meta descriptions and the pages that already attract visitors are documented up front, so nothing valuable disappears quietly.

  2. 02

    Keep the URLs worth keeping

Where a page keeps its purpose, it keeps its address. Fewer changed URLs means fewer things that can go wrong.

  3. 03

Map and redirect anything that moves

Every changed address gets a permanent 301 redirect to its closest equivalent, so old links and bookmarks still land somewhere useful.

  4. 04

    Carry metadata and canonicals forward

Titles and descriptions that still describe the page are kept, canonical tags point each page at itself, and duplicate paths are resolved rather than left competing.

  5. 05

    Keep analytics continuous

Where you supply access to your existing analytics, the same property continues after launch so you can compare before and after honestly.

  6. 06

    Test after launch

Internal links, redirects and crawlable navigation are checked once the site is live, not assumed.

Common questions

Website redesign questions, answered plainly

If your question is not here, ask it directly. A short reply with a real answer is faster than reading around the subject.

Ask about your site

A website redesign rebuilds an existing site: its structure, visual design, mobile behavior, content hierarchy and the paths people take to contact you. It is not a coat of paint on the same pages. The parts of the current site that already work — your copy, your photographs, your recognized brand, the URLs people link to — are kept and carried forward.

Website redesigns are quoted separately after we review your current site, because the work depends entirely on what is already there. Sometimes a redesign costs less than building new — the copy, brand, photography and page structure are largely in place, so we are rebuilding rather than inventing. Sometimes it costs more — an older site can carry tangled navigation, thin or duplicated content, broken links, and URLs that all need mapping carefully so nothing you have earned in search is lost. There are three packages, matched to the three website options, and we tell you which one fits and what it costs in writing before any work begins. One free design preview. Additional previews are $150 each.

All three include the same foundations: an audit of the current site, a visual and UX redesign in a direction you choose, phone-first responsive layouts, clearer navigation and calls to action, page titles and meta descriptions, a redirect map with 301 redirects where URLs change, accessibility fundamentals, launch QA and go-live coordination. The difference is size and depth. The Starter Redesign rebuilds one page. The Business Redesign rebuilds up to five core pages with custom sections and forms. The Enterprise Business Redesign adds the store or booking side of the site — product or service pages, the cart or booking flow, and customer account screens.

The schedule is confirmed after we look at your current site, because the honest answer depends on how many pages there are, how ready your content is, and how quickly feedback comes back. You get the dates in writing before the build starts rather than an average that may not apply to you.

No one can guarantee rankings, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we do is reduce the avoidable risk: we record your current URLs, titles, descriptions and best-performing pages first, keep useful URLs where we can, map anything that changes to a permanent 301 redirect, carry existing metadata forward where it still fits, keep canonical tags and your analytics intact, and check crawlable links after launch.

Yes. You keep your domain, and the redesign is built around the copy, brand assets and photography you already own and approve. If something is missing we will tell you what is needed.

A redesign starts from something real: existing content, brand recognition, URLs and search history that are worth keeping. A new website starts from a blank page, usually because there is no site yet or nothing on the current one is worth carrying over. If you are starting from nothing, the tiered website packages are the better fit.

Yes. One free design preview. Additional previews are $150 each. These are design directions, not finished websites; the remaining pages are built after you approve a direction and confirm your package.

If your current site is bigger than the package you pick, or needs something scoped separately, the extra scope is identified and priced with you before any work begins. Ongoing care is quoted separately — the website options page sets out the care that comes with a build, and anything ongoing for a redesign is confirmed on its own.

Three packages, rebuilt around the content and brand you already own. Because every existing site is different, a redesign can land below the cost of a new build or above it — so we quote yours in writing after looking at it, and anything beyond the package scope is priced with you first.
